Reminders and Updates

• Swimming is next week! We are looking forward to it. We will be swimming at Sir Winston Churchill Pool. We are still in need of volunteers for the school, please let us know if you can join.
• Conferences will be happening the evening of November 27th and morning of November 28th. Please bring your student with you!
• Home communication folders are in backpacks today. This is an opportunity for your student to share their amazing work with you. Attached is a co-created rubric that was made in collaboration with the students, it is meant to guide self-evaluation and inform next steps and goal setting. We will be using these frequently throughout the year across subjects. 
• Students completed a check-in for mental Math addition strategies yesterday. Today, we spent some time reviewing our answers and discussing next steps in our learning. These were also taken home in communication folders.
